Idea to help forum congestion
How about we have a single thread started by a moderator on Friday each week that is titled "What happened this weekend 7/18-720/03" (the dates change). Then we post inside it the ot things like "got 4 waves from c5s", "ran a good time at the strip", "saw something unbelievible", etc. This would maybe help keep the volume down.

They have Bar threads in the OT section. about the sam thing as you are suggesting....It might work.
You can post up to about 1000 replies to a single thread before the forum software starts to crap out and Choke on it. So there would be plenty of room to post in it.
The only thing I would like to suggest is that the old one should get locked and a new one started every week. That way it wouldn't take you 7 hours of reading to get caught up if you missed a couple of days.
