How do you install new "corvette" emblem on rear of 78'
I removed the old "Corvette" emblem from the rear plastic bumper on my 78'(it appeared to have been glued with something) and was ready to install the new, but it uses nuts to hold it on. Do I have to take the whole car apart to get at the backside of the rear bumper panel in order to install the nuts on the emblem? It looks like the supporting structure for the energy absorbing bumper covers up the area.

I was able to 2 out of the three on by laying down and reaching up around the support and then tighten them with a wrench. Really my wife had to start one of them for my hand was to big. The middle one was out of the question.

get a ratcheting wrench. That will help so you don't have to remove the wrench and reposition, just keep moving along.
