I am getting ready to do a -AN setup for my car. I am going to go with an Earls filter. I hear they work pretty well.

I use a normal ~2" dia 3" long 3/8 piped stainless filter in the SUCTION side of my fuel pump, which then pushes forward to the DPFI setup....
nothing under the hood....

iyou do not want one of those glass/perspex see throigh things. The only thing they're good for is in a PCV line back to the carb, you can replace it when it's all dirty. keeps the intake nice & clean.

I have one here:

I use the Fram remote also but that damn copper washer at the top leaks EVERYTIME I change the element (I now have two washers under the bolt). If I had to do it over (and I might) I would go with an inline that had AN males on the ends. ...redvetracr

I just use the Summit Racing brand fuel filter part # G1516-8 8-AN The BG140006 for Demon carbs fuel log Earls 8-AN to 3/8 90 degree hose adapter. Maybe a 18 inch length of steel braided hose which I ran over the top of the exsisting steel line from the stock type bypass mech fuel pump.

It makes for a bullet proof non leaking system

TT mines blue, but it's the same.

This is my motor on a test stand and picture number two was when I still had a mech. fan last year
