I finally got my car back, and had it in for inspection and dyno tune. I need to replace my distributor, and he suggests a Mallory with vacuum advance. Is anyone running with one of these, and is it possible to retain my mechanical tach? I'd like to go with Mallory because I have brand new plug wires custom made and I'd like to reuse them.
