Default Sorry again, but any tips for 6-spd in 1980 auto?

Sorry guys, asked this awhile back, but been so busy didnt have time to print out the very helpful responses.

Mechanic is putting a ROD 6-speed in a 1980 auto car. I've purchased the tranny, clutch (centerforce dual friction), scattershild, and flywheel (centerforce version).

This guy claims to have done this before, but any "things to take into account" would be helpful so I could relay to him to make sure they get taken care of.

When I asked, I seem to remember a couple people talking about the right tranny fluid to use. There were other helpful suggestions, but my memory fails me.

If yall could remind me of what was said, and lemme know any suggestions whatsoever, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks alot :)
