Hood Insulation...how do you install it on a 75?
I am removing the old insulation (glued to the hood) and replacing it correctly with the GM insulation, clips and retainers. Question: how do you attach the clips to the hood? Expoxy Glue? and if so....where do I place the clips on the hood to line up with the insulations holes? :crazy:

If you look carefully at the underside of the hood there are circles molded in that indicate where the mounts belong. I thing there are 11 of them, the one on the air duct is not marked, you will need to measure for it. Someone told me to use J/B weld, but I haven't got that far yet so I can't say from experience it would work. Make sure the attachment spots are clean, free of paint, and scuff those areas as well as the mount studs prior to adhesion. I would try just one with the J/B weld and then see if it held well before doing the rest.
