Default question for chambered exhaust owners

Did you use the stock muffler hangers in the rear or did you have to "wing it".

I have the pipes but no hangers. Not sure how many to use either, all responses, as usual, will be appreciated.

thanks

This wont help much but... I bought my chambered system used so the previous owner had hangers welded to the pipes. It does however bolt up to the stock mounting points. So I say yes, use the stock hangers and clamp them to the pipes.

:withstupid:

I think the installer welded a strip to the tail end of the chambered tail pipe, which mates to the stock rear mounts with a bolt, nut and washer.

I used the only the rear hangers MAD supplied. If there's supposed to be another hanger around the diff, I wasn't aware of it. The pipes are pretty close to the diff as is.
