Looks good !!

I've contemplated a lift like that, but never been able to fully justify it.
OK - you did good posting the pic. How 'bout some details, like make, model,
and the ever-important pricetag.

I know I'm really going to miss that... I getting ready to sand the whole car down for a paint job - I can't believe that I'll actually be able to stand up and work on it :)

That is a really great looking lift. I wish I had the extra cash to get something like that.

Nice. If you would, please discuss the decision process you went through to select this lift over others (four poster, kwiklift, etc.) Thanks :seeya

Did you have to drive your car up on the 2X6's I see?
If so, because the lift is too high to drive over?
It looks really cool though, not a bad price.

I really like that little thing! Tall enough to work on just about anything, but short enough where you wouldn't have to raise the garage roof to lift a car. Nice price too.

Yep those are 2x12x8 boards and I bought 8 of them so the car could clear the lift and leave room for me to use the middle size of the 3 different size adaptors (for the end of the arms that slide under the frame). My header collectors only clear the ground by about 3 inches. With those boards in place I can use the middle size adaptors on the ends of the arms that slide into postion and not hit my headers (I can take a picture of that if that if needed). Without the headers you probably could get by with 4 boards. It is very sturdy and locks into position so it will not come down with you under it :) . The reason I chose this lift was price and the fact that I do not have room for a 2 post lift in my garage. I probably would have went with the two post if I had more room. The two post would allow more room under the middle of the car. However, for the work I need to do I think this lift is great...

That is a cool looking lift. What is the weight rating that it can pick up? Obviously it can pick up a 3500# vette.

And the locking mechanism... I'd like to see that. I picture *squish*!

one more ???? When your not using it, can it be moved out of the way. I only have a 1 car garage and space in limited for me too. I need a lift that I can either drive over or move out of the way. I really like the lift you have and the price is right. Can you take some closeups of it for us?
Thanks

I just got the exact same lift on Thursday and got it running this morning. Picked up the Outback and changed oil and rotated the tires. Sure made that an easier job. I'm going to go out and put the 68 on it now and see how that works. Did you have any problems with the arms hitting the cylinders when it is completely colapsed? I had to trim the corners to get enough clearance to get full range of motion. The guy at Bend Pak said he has never had this problem before and made note that I was going to grind on the arms.

As for moving it around it is a bit cumbersome but not hard to move. Also you can park your car over it if space is an issue. Craig :chevy

Hmm, I can't tell much from the pics, but it looks like you would be very limited in the center of the vehicle. Doesn't look ideal for pulling a tranny or driveshaft, but maybe it's just the angle I'm seeing it from. If I ever build a house, the garage will be tall enough for a two post lift. :yesnod:
