Default From the Early Ford V8 forum....

"A fellow brought me his car to work on, and told me to fix it as if it was my own. The main thing I see wrong with it is the motor (350 c***y), which stands to reason becouse its a 78 Vette. So, fix it as if it was my own, hmm, maybe I'll put in a Flathead V8."

That is hilarious. I'm guessing many of the forum members were part of my auction of the LT-1 valve covers. Ends up I bought a vette from a shop that builds hot mustangs and they were selling the 3 vettes they had to expand the shop. Ken(the owner) told me on the phone that he purposely left out that they were "tang" fans as he figured no one would trust them.

Wait a minute... :skep: :skep:

Just go to any Cruise-In, Car show, whatever and count the number of F**ds with Chevy engines. Now count the number of Chevys with blue ovals. I think that sums it up.

In fact, there is a guy by me that has a Chevy 427 in his 69 GTO!

Come to think of it that would be a nice sleeper, a Mustang with 5.0 badges and a 400 stroker under the hood you wouldn't know what hit you
