Just got a Canon A70 yesterday. Nice little thing. Took this pic this morning and it's my new backdrop here at work.

Great shot! I like the new wheels, I would have got those if they were available at the time.

It makes my heart ache a little because I haven't been able to drive my car since March!!! I never would have imagined it would take that long to rebuild the engine.

You are a real inspiration for me. I have copied a lot of your ideas-
C4 seats
Camaro seat belts
And some day when I have more money I'll consider fuel injection

I also drive mine to work most of the time. I don't have A/C so the 105 degree days I take the other car ;)

I had a hard time finding it. All the local suspects were out of stock. Best Buy, Circuit City, Microcenter, Ritz, Wolf camera, all out of stock. Finally found one at gateway, and it was their last one. Cool thing was gateway had the same price as everyone else, $299, but also included a free 64MB flash card so it ended up a better deal. The supplied 16MB card only holds 7 pics at max resolution, so a bigger flash card is very useful.

Also looked online but the price difference was minimal. Lowest online price was about $270, and then they wanted $15 shipping. Rather buy it locally and support the local stores.

Bridgestone Potenza RE730, in 255/50-ZR17. Rims are American Racing CL205, 17x8.

I like the tires. Treadwear is 400 and sofar it seems accurate. They're holding up great. The tires are quiet (not like the Goodyear GSC's I had a few years back that HOWLED on concrete). Grip is excellent both dry and wet. Don't think there's a better tire in the $150 priceclass.

Jay, 105F and no AC would be painful! It is funny though that the Vette has been the best summer time car I've driven. The upright windshield and flat back window doesn't let much sunlight in so it barely heats up when parked outside. Newer cars with the raked glass are horrible.

I tested the heat buildup in the vette versus my camaro. At the end of the day the camaro was 145F inside and the vette was 97F. Both cars had windhield screens and the windows cracked about 1".
