Spinning the Vette @ 100+
Since the subject of 180s came up, here's 360s at 100+.
Late at night  in a major US city on freeway was runing usual cruise 100+. When changing lanes was moving the wheel faster & faster, then suddenly the back came around fast spinning, caught it & around the other way spinning, caught it & straight ahead.
G/F thought I was showing off.

Sounds like a chang eof shorst was in order after that.
I did a 270 in my big ole 73 Regency 98 once. I was turning left at a stop light and decided to have some fun with my friends so I punch it half way through the turn. Well the butt end breaks lose and starts coming around so I ride it out while hitting the breaks. The car comes to a complet top perfectly in the left turn lane heading the other way as if I just approached and stopped right at the line. So I calmly wait for the lights to cycle through and make a left turn. The people in the lanes around me must have thought I was . :)

I am a little surprised at some of the comments. That's just 1 exp. Have seen worse.
When someone's primary interest is cars, HP & driving , then you might expect that he has had plenty of experiences.
In general people stopped riding w/ me in my teens after 1 ride, they told others & right away ... no one wants a ride.
Anyway, wild rides are normal to me & don't bother me.

Did something oil down the road to make it slick? If not Ganey it's time for new modern tire sizes. I've done 360's at a race track maybe around 70 mph by just being on the gas to soon before really completing a turn.

No, don't think so was moving the the wheel harder & harder & after awhile it overcome the traction & spun.
Normally I can catch a car at speed & drive it sideways.

Re: Spinning the Vette @ 100+ (Twin_Turbo)
I just did an unintentional 270 the other day, I was at a stop sign out on a country road and decided to see if I could get the rear end to break loose on a really hot day. It was a 4 way stop on a barely used road, next to a road that was used a lot more, but with no way to get from one to the other. I was facing 190 degrees south and punched it, it came around on my to the right(spinning left) so I just decided to ride it around, except it started to bite a little an by about 85 degrees East NE I was starting to move North a little more than I wanted, especially towards that East stop sign. So I hit the brakes, and the rear swung around and I was now facing exactly west, in front of the westbound stop sign. I calmly turned left 90 degrees and continued on my intended southbound course :)
I could see people's faces when they were stopped at the light on the parallel highway. Most were of jaw open stares, others were happy smiles.
While it was not a legal maneuver, I had full visibility of other traffic approaching for miles, did not destroy any pavement nor cause any damage to my vehicle or put anyone else's person or property at risk of damage(except the stop sign and that costs $300 if you get fined for destroying it, if you buy one outright, it's $50.)
Useless trivia: If you hit a telephone pole in PA and break it beyond repair, it costs $8000 to replace and re-wire. To move the pole from one location to another(say 15 feet away) it costs $15,000.

Yeah this guy just ins't sounding right.. I think even the most experienced driver wouldn't gloat about $ucking up while driving 100 Plus while drunk then doing a 360 in a city. he's just messing around.. Trying to start something.. So I will say. AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!.
But I will admit, I did something similar once, was playing with a friend of mine and I had a GF I was trying to impress, went around a corner real fast right by my work, anywyas, ended up doing a 180 and rolling backwards, then whipped it back around and kept driving. A new guy at my work saw it, an then some othe rpeople came out as they heard the tires squeeling. and the new guy was saying Some idiot was out there trying to show off in a vett.. then everyone else realized it was me.. it was a good laugh. But I was still embarrassed that it happened and I didn't intend for it to happen.. Still pisses me off even today.

I don't believe it either. When you loose a C3 at that speed something serious is going to happen.
It will eventually grab and you will be going straight into the wall or a tree.
