What colour should I paint my calipers?
As you have probably learned by reading one of my other 5 active posts :rolleyes: is that i am completly detailing my car(well actually just what people will be able to see without a creeper or mirrors) .
My car is white and I have gold pinstripes with gold front grills and a goldish colour interior so I was originally thinking of painting them gold, but now I am thinking about painting them red. The only red things i have on my car are the lights in my gills, the lights in my ac vents and the red fake braided hose kit.

who is going to see them? what about simple black, or a metal-like color such as cast iron or magnesium etc?

It doesn't look like your wheels allow too much of the caliper to show through but I still like the idea of painted calipers. I think gold or black woulod be a good choice. :thumbs:

Paint them grey like the factory did. Red looks good when the wheel exposes the caliper. From the looks of your chrome wheels, the calipers aren't too visible.

Well, I decided to go red.
But the calipers are more visible through the spoke rims. :yesnod:

Everyone knows that red calipers make your car stop better, thats why every done-up Civic has red calipers...

I know its not done on vette calipers, but you can always polish them :) Thats what I did on my Z.. Polished the calipers, painted the brackets and the hub. Added decals and clear coated. :cool:
