My wall chart says 165 hp@3800 rpm. Dismal aint it? it can be greatly improved. 75 was the beginning of the smog era. They didnt know how to make them clean and powerfull at the same time back then. At least thay hadnt made it to market by then.

No doubt...yur car looks really sweet. I really like silver on a C3 vette.
On the engine mods question the first thing i would ask is: Do you have to contend with emissions testing for a 75 model year in your area? Next question is : How much are you willing to spend to get more power?

$2000 ok heres my recomedation. Comp Cams XE262 kit which includes new valve springs, retainers and keepers. aproxx $270 Dynomax ceramic coated headers, $210. True dual exhaust with aftermarket mufflers,$500 EDl 2101 aluminum intake $100(stock height) which will help you retain yur factory cowl induction setup. block the snorkels to force all incomming intake air to come from cowl. Remove cowl flap from hood. HEI distributor curve kit, $not much. TCI Breakaway stall convertor $220. nice set of ignition wire to route over valve covers due to headers. $70. Labor would surely eat up the rest unless yur doin it yurself. This is just a quick stab at it. Im sure others have good ideas too.

Definetly go with dual exhaust. If you want, stick a couple high flow cats in (like I'm about to do). Pacin' California has it too.
