Since everybody is starting to get their GTECHs in, I think this will be an appropriate post for next week sometime. My guess : 1 fender bender / 3 tickets. :) :jester

About 2 years ago, I lent mine to a guy at work overnight who wanted to test out his Lexus. I found it in my chair the next day, he was pissed about the ticket he'd gottten with it on his way home. :nono: :yesnod:

Re: GTECH" (SCVetteGuy)
I'll start off, since everyone will be able to beat my numbers (Stock 77 L-82)
My 0-60 time was 6.9 sec, and the measured HP was 144 (I set the weight to 3500)
The 60-0 was 244 feet, and I haven't had a chance to do the 1/4 mile measurement yet.

I need SuperFast80 in the passenger seat for my GTech to work - last fall he borrowed one and we tried it in my vette. One minor prob. my lighter doesn't have any power to it, so being innovative Canucks, we took the battery out of his minivan, placed it btn his legs on the floor and he held the wires onto the terminals - had to be there, especially when we got pulled over by the cops.

Oh damn that is funny... I was trying to think how I am going to get one to work concidering I just took out my rusty lighter socket.. hahahaha. That is too funny....
Sad part is I can picture it.
"Um ya officer, I was, ah, testing... No it is not a radar detector. Why is my friend sitting with a battery between his legs, well that is a kinda funny story....."

Re: GTECH" (mfendley)
best time so far 0-60 = 6.3 RWHP = 208 with 3800 lbs entered. (got that number 2 times). Where it's coming from, I have no idea. As far as I know the only mods are true duals through manifolds, recurved dist, rejetted carb, ... Oh I KNOW: it's the K&N OIL and air filter
