Wonder if you pulled the sock out of the tank to make sure it didn't get suck in by the fuel pump.

I'm using a sump, so the stock sock is unused.

Happen to have any pics of your set up? My thoughts right now are to mount a filter higher than the pump to act as a supply buffer for fuel slosh if I can find the right design. I have a fram filter that I think draws the fuel from the bottom so it would have a built in reserve if you will of about a pint or 2.

Yeah, I have some pics of the tank on the website. I love that tank. 21 gallon capacity and with the needle all the way on E I can still accelerate/brake/turn as hard as I want to without any air entering the fuel system. Stock tank was hopeless at anything less than 1/2 tank.

I've got my stock tank with a sending unit out of an '82, I hope I dont run into issues with this setup, a new tank would be spendy.

My fuel pump is mounted under the car. As long as it is lower than the tank, your fine
