Auxillary Fan Recommendation
I have a 71 small block that runs in the typical range of 190 to 210. Looking for a low profile auxillary fan. Any recommendations as to what brand/type? Also, what type of results have you seen with these units. Thanks

Try these people for a recommendation, they will know what will fit between the original fan and the radiator: http://www.dewitts.com/index.asp

I know a 16" Hayden or Derale fan will fit inside the shroud and clear the engine fan. I have run one on the 73BB for added cooling. Mounts to the bottom of the radiator and leaves about 1.5" clearance.
If you want some added cooling go this route, but if you want total cooling and can afford the hit, go the aluminum radiator and dual fan setup. In the end look at $800-900 for the setup.

Depending on your stat and driving cond's that is not really too bad a temp to be running at. I have a 180 stat, twin eledc fans and alum rad with a warmed up sb and it runs about 190 to 200 most of the time.
