I have a 99 cobra and frankly I have been unimpressed . Although it handles nice is shifts like poopie.. the rear is so weak I am afraid to get on it... also my Vette will eat my Cobra but my Cobra will probabvly eat your Vette :lol:

some mustang guys have their noses up but 9 out of 10 that I actually confront have intresting things to say. After all some of them are probably in their forum right now calling us stuck up. It's all relative. The only mustangs I like are 71-73 Mach1 but if the guy takes care of his car, & drives respectively i don't hesitate to compliment his/her ride. I think deep down mustang guys like corvettes they might dislike Firebird/Camaro.... but how do you hate a C3 corvette HOW?

Just wait until my 97 Blazer is done. 383 Stroker w/a 700r4 tranny and the best thing of all, a corvette rear end. My little toy truck. It likes :smash: stangs as it is.

I have a 89 mustang that with beat about 90% of the vetts on this forum. You guys don't know what it is like to drive a car that launches. I drop the hammer at 4700-5000 rpm with the nitrous and the thing just goes, no wheel spin, the front tires rise slightly and you can feel the slicks wrinkling. While my vette has twice the power it can not match the launch. The vet just spins. The mustang has a gage, frame connectors and 4 link. Plus it will not break. I remember just last week forum members praising fords superior T5.
Shane once he builds his camaro will find out what it is like to have something that can launch.
I don't often street race but one 442 really ticked me off. On an intersection with 5 lanes wide I bet I cleared all 5 lanes before he even crossed the cross walk. That is launching.
