Please explain Spark Plugs
I just found two boxes of spark plugs while going through my junk in the garage. They are R45TS and a box of R44TX. Which one is correct (best) for my bone stock, dual exhaust 1975 L82?

44's are a colder plug. I also think the S in TS is for the extended tip. Someone else will need to chime in about the T and X portions

Good question Jim, I have always wonder about which plug to use. Anyone have spark plug users guide outlining cond to run diff plugs with plug cross references?

Re: Please explain Spark Plugs (Fevre)
I'd run the cold ones... then if they turn that wonderful light tan color... they are the ones... but i'd end up running both!

I just went through this about a month ago. Here is the thread, hopefully you'll find some info that can help. I went with an Autolite 85.
