Uncorked my JCL sidepipes.....
:eek: Wow, talk about waking up your engine. I don't think I'll be keeping them like this. I used my Dremel to grind thru the welds to remove the caps and should have no problem putting them back on.
The capped sidepipes have more rumble with a mellower sound. Uncapped and they are much more aggressive sounding. I will leave them as is for this week, but I'm really pushing the envelop for getting a ticket as they stand.
I was curious how they'd sound and now I know. The nice thing is it didn't cost anything but my time to completely change the sound of my car ;) .

:cool: There is a late 60's camaro that drives around my town and it has open side-pipes. It's very loud and mean sounding, I get scared when it pulls up next to me. ;)
