[Detroit] Anyone have a bead blaster?
My intake manifold is a mess after my oil leak incident and I want to clean it up. Does anyone local have a bead blaster and can help me out?
Thanks in advance,
Matt

I own one. :smash:
I need to know what material your intake is, and some details on the current finish, (paint, clear coat, raw, etc) and what happened. What chemicals have you used to try to clean it, and what the current damage looks like. :chevy

Aluminum (Weiand), as cast, oil leak made a mess, haven't tried to clean it, no damage.
(I think that covers it)

I can try to clean it up for you, no guarantees tho. Sometimes alum stains are next to impossible to rid, and others dissappear.
After the clean up, I would clear coat it for you to minimize any future probs, which might darken it a bit.
We could hookup somewhere half way between our locations. I would need about a week with it. All I ask is, you pay the cost of materials. :chevy
