(OT)TX-LA vette owners... looks like nasty weather
For those following Tropical Storm(Hurricane?) Claudette here's a pretty good link out of Beaumont(I think) to get the latest. Best if on cable or DSL as there are lots of graphs & bulletins.
Appears we will have a pretty windy day tomorrow in Pearland with projections of it going in around Corpus Christi.

Time for a beer run just in case!

Looks like we escaped a hurricane for once. Best of luck to you guys in TX, god knows we don't need the rain here in Louisiana. :nonod:

I'm sitting pretty close to the projected path, but far enough inland and high enough on a hill I don't have to worry much. But the vette's gonna be in the garage for a while!

Good luck Texas peeps. I think we here in LA are lucky for now. for now my car is safe in the body shop, but I cannot wait to get it back. I am hoping I get the car back before the 1 year anniversary of my wreck.

Goodluck to the Texas members, looks like majority of Louisiana will miss most of the storm, except the rain. Which as Corey mentioned we have plenty for now. (freakin grass)
I just hope this one doesn't have much affect on us. Best of luck to yall in TX.

LAvetteman,
No problems here.... just maybe 30-35 mph winds and some rain. By 2-3PM it was sunny outside, but still breezy. I do feel sorry for my lawnguy. Like you all, it has been nothing but rain for the last month(+) and 4-5 days later the yard is a jungle again. I am now bribing him to come back earlier. :D
