As most of you already know my car was an origional sb, auto with a\c. Now it is a BB, 4spd. Latter down the road I may try and hook up all of the a\c stuff but that will be long time from now if at all. On the firewall looking from the front of the car and to the right of the wiper motor are 2 relays mounted together. I think that one of them has something to do with the anti dieseling and I am not sure yet about the others. In an effort to clean up the engine bay I was thinking about removing these if they are nt neccesary. Can I or should I do this? What if any would be the repercutions. :confused:

Hmmm, my 71 is originally a 4 spd, base 350, with NO a/c car. It has two relays to the right of the wiper motor as well. Not sure what they are for, but I here one or both of them click when the IGN is turned on.

On my 70 one of those is called the TCS relay. This is no longer needed on most of our cars because most of the TCS system has been removed a long time ago. TCS=transmission controlled spark.
