Headers for a '74 with a/c and L31 Vortec Heads????
Hello all!
I'm going to be replacing my stock '74 engine with a GM crate motor with L31 Vortec Heads in the near future. My car has factory air conditioning, so I'll need a set of headers with some type of compressor bracket. I'm having a trouble finding a set of headers that will meet both of these requirements. Any suggestions????

You can re-use your stock a/c bracket, but make two spacers out of heavy wall pipe cut to match the thickness of the manifold minus the header flange. Joe

i got vortec heads...i went with hooker comp headers and the hooker ac bracket. works great! IM me if you have any other questions about the headers, bolts, and bracket...i will say this..the bracket was alittle tricky to get on.
