Ever see grills in the middle of the front bumper on a 78 vette
As I look through a corvette news from 78 I see things that don't make sense to me. Are the grills in the middle of the front bumper something that can be purchased or just something they did for the photo shoot.

I have one of those grills on the front of my '79. They can NOT be made functional without MAJOR work.

exactly..those are the plastic centergrill covers that fit on your existing front license plate bolt holes...ecklers has them. they don't look that good up close and in person.

Thanks for the input on them, it was a major deal just getting the true flex bumpers to fit....I installed my grills flush with the front of the bumper instead of inset so I was wondering on the center piece. I am thinking about installing some tranny coolers in the open area up front behind the grills.
