Do you put sealant or something under the stainless T bar (t-tops)
Trying to figure out in what order and how to install the upper trim piece and stainless T bar. Do you need to put some black sealant under it for leaks? From what I gather, there is 2 slip clamps that the trim slides in one on each side and then the stainless T piece locks aaginst it when you put it on. Any info is appreciated. I have some roll out black putty I am thinking of putting along the edge. There is 2 holes in the weldment that would allow water to flow to the interior if it got under the T piece.

I really recommend an assembly manual for this. It has drawings that show exactly where to put sealer. I don't have a scanner, or I'd scan it for you.

Lots of room in this one but kinda hard to see over the hood :jester
Zwede, I do have a assembly manual but it was a little vague here so I throw it out to the forum, shoot, I would of never got this far without it.. :yesnod:
