Paul
Neither your link in this thread nor the one on the forum side tool bar seem to be working. What does line set delete leave off. I have manual brakes and will be adding steeriods, already have the kit just need to install it.
Thanks

!? Possibly just a momentary hickup in the 'net? Seems to be working ok when we checked it - let us know if you experience any further problems.
At any rate, the lineset delete models are for customers that would prefer to fab up their own lines for various different reasons. Essentially, you would receive just the assist unit itself, ready to bolt in.

Can some of the owners please post their comments on the system? I like to hear from them to see how they liked the kit and how they have held up.

Re: HYDRATECH GROUP PURCHASE ! (QuickVet)
QuickVet et al,
I purchased a Hydroboost unit from Paul a few months ago. I can assure you that you will think you have Brimbo brakes on the car when you first use them. There is nothing like having hydraulic assist instead of vacuum assist. It is without a doubt the best $500 I have even spent on a car and God only knows how many $500 I have spent over the years on cars. If you run a modified car it also gives you a lot more clearance around the driver's side valve cover because you don't have the big vacuum tank there in the way. Installation is straightforward but remove the driver's seat to mount the unit to the firewall. That is the only step that is tedious. I have worked with Paul a lot the last few months and his technical knowledge is unsurpassed when it comes to braking systems. Paul is one of us. He loves cars and enjoys working with Corvette owners.

The hydroboost is one of the best mods you'll make on a 'Vette for the money especially if you have manual brakes. Completely changes the nature of the car. Once you install the system, you'll discover just how powerful those C3 brakes really are.

Re: HYDRATECH GROUP PURCHASE ! (gerry72)
I had manual brakes before the Hydroboost system. A huge difference in braking. A much more positive pedal feel. I would recomend this system and the customer support is great. Had a small problem and Paul worked it through with me until it was right.

Re: HYDRATECH GROUP PURCHASE ! (dewcustom)
Dewcustom - you have already done what is needed by posting that you are in.
There is a relatively quick and painless modification that can be performed to the existing stock ps pump that substantially increases its flow rate.
Simply remove the existing ps pump output fitting and upsize the 2 points shown to 5/32 or .140". This will kick up the ps pump flow rates to approximately 3.5 gallons per minute, by comparison to about 2.0 GPM factory flow rate. Make sure that you deburr the drilled orifices very carefully after performing the mods!
