Default C5 wheels on a C3, can they be safely adapted???

I have a Viper Red 1980 L82 that I'd like to put my 2001 Torch Red Polished Wheels on so I can go wider on the 01 and have two complementary show cars. I know there are a few C3-C4 and C4-C5 adapter offerings out there but have yet to see a C3-C5 adapter hub.
Recommendations?
Thanks!

I think all you'll need is a spacer. I looked into this a while back for my 75 vette (with ZR1 rims), but never went through with it. Since the ZR1 rims fit on a C5 and C3, I would think C5 rims would fit on a C3.

You'll have better luck asking in the C3 section though.

You probably need 2.5 inch adapters as offered by VBP on front and maybe 2.75 inch adapters on the rear. Call them up and they will work with you to get them to fit just right.
