Why would you put gum on your garage floor?

Why would you put gum on your garage floor?
So I bought a house about 8 weeks ago and Ive been in the garage working every weekend since...taping, texturing, filling huge holes, degreasing the floor, installing flourescent lights, and removing chewing gum from the floor. Who would spit their gum inside their garage? I dont get it, probly removed 20 peices in the last couple of weeks. At least it looks good now. :rant:
Ok sorry for that. Ive been working on the floor for the last 11 hours, but now finally finished...coated it with rusoleum's garage floor coating and it looks awesome...Worth all the work, Ill have pics tomorrow for those interested.
