Hi, I am Rexx78's fiance and I am looking to find a picture of the alternator installed, where the arm brackets bold to the block. Thanks, cheers :cheers:

Double Aught

The alternator bracket bolts to the cylinder head. The adjusting arm that is used to tension the alternator is bolted to the upper water pump bolt. That bolt should also hold the A.I.R. pump adjusting arm. Torque down the alt. bracket first, then screw in the adjusting bolt to the alt. and pull to adjust tension. That bolt should also have a ground wire to attach. Once you have proper tension on the belt, tighten down the nut and bolt that holds the alt. to the bracket. 9/16 th's on both. Good luck. I just removed mine today to get at my power steering pump.
