Default Any way to tell whether I will need to relocate my e-brake bracket for the new wheels?

Hello,

New wheels are on order :D and should be here in a few days. I had originally planned to put em on at home, but the guy at the rim shop offered to throw in a free front end alignment just so he could see them on the car. They are 17x8s, with a 4.25" backspacing..

So any ideas how likely I am to need to relocate the e-brake cable bracket? and also how do I do that? I'm sure there is a FAQ or something here on the forum, but i'm having no luck searching....

Whom ever replies to this thread better erase the title word....I got a warnign saying there were over 100 characters, then it deleted my reply. :cry

Anyway, I'd say your safe with a 17 inch wheel. I tried 16x8 with 4.5 BS and the rim ran into the rear spring and the PB cable bracket. :cry They were Halibrand's and I sent them back. They only offered a 16x8 in wheel with 4.5 BS. With another inch at 17, you should clear the bracket and spring but wait for some of the 17 inch guys to confirm.
