Re: lights (rrent)
rdrman, i looked all over on the floor for it, in my 1980 camaro it's quite a big floor mounted switch but there's nothing like that in the vette,
rrent, the wash wipe are on the turn signal stalk as well, that stalk seems to do an awful lot,
thanks,

"that stalk seems to do an awful lot"
It does :yesnod:
The turn signal stalk is, obviously, your turn signal (up & down), your wipers (rotate), and your hi-beam/lo-beam switch (pull end towards you and release). The interior light dimmer switch is on the headlight switch on the dash (rotate).
Hope this helps.

Re: lights (jerryp58)
tried that,
it feels as though the stalk is switching something but the lights are still on high beam all the time!!!
the "bright" indicator light is constantly lit up when the lights are on,
any ideas????

Re: lights (camaroneil)
The switch may be bad or a bad connection at the plug, If you can get to the plug unplug and clean the contacts try that first, If you need a pic of what you need to look for let me know i will post it.
