2 bolt too.

The 82 DOES have the TRW made L82 forged 464664 flat top (single valve relied) pistons.

L48's were all 2-bolt.

The L-82's were 4-bolt.

Purely a fictitious thought that someone year's ago put into people's minds that you must have a *4 bolt* when it comes to horsepower. Build it right and any 2 bolt block will last just as long as any 4 bolt. GM offered the option only because they were never planning on internally balancing any engine right, so they needed to offer something to make you think they were.

Just my humorous comments for the night....

Quite a few guys here are making 400HP w/2 bolt motors and holding them together as long as they stay under 6K RPM.........To me that seems like enough for the street. I'm makin about 350HP and over 400 ft/lbs and dont have a problem........ :seeya
