Default Throttle linkage dress up

I'm probably going with a polished intake manifold and a Speed Demon. Any suggestions on a  looking throttle linkage.

Hi Jay, Going to Cruza-Poluza in New Brighton today?

There's a couple guys who converted to Lokar's cable & bracket. Nice stuff. That's what I'd use. I think Steve Straus was the most recent swap. Hold onto your Holley throttle cable bracket that mounts to your carb though. They don't make them anymore!

Just did my Lokar cable and CSI bracket, although someone posted that the CSI bracket won't work with a drop base like the L-88 setup, but I'm going to try to mod a cheap $10 base first to see if I can keep the CSI bracket. Lokar makes a nice bracket as well.

I've got a chrome bracket from Summit. This winter I'll do the contortions and replace the throttle cable with something nice. Maybe a Lokar.

Did you go to the Poluza? Good day for it. I promise to sleep with the Holley throttle cable bracket.

A.C.,

You have an RPM Air Gap and a Speed Demon under a stock SB 1969 hood. What's your air cleaner? No rubbing?

Filed my own mount when it was raining outside...

Combined with carb heat shield and cold start solenoid mount.

Not so nice as Lokars, but fun to do.
