Default Speed gear formula

I know this was covered in the past but I could not find the thread.

I am changing my tires on my 69 to a 1" smaller diameter tire than stock. Obviously this is going to mess up my speedo.

I have a standard 4 sp (manual) and 3.36 rear gears. I am putting 225/70r15 tires on.
Any one know what gear I need to put in or even a web site I can find out, as well as wear I can get the gear. My tire place doesn't handle them.

You may want to try a speedometer repair place. I just got my speedo working after 20 years. They needed my tire size or revs per mile, transmission gear ratio in the highest gear, and differential ratio. They sold me a brown colored gear and I am only off by 1 mile per hour.
