A/C Heater Control 1980
I am currently waiting on new evaporator core and while waiting found that my A/C-Heater control in console had the FAN plug disconnected :cuss
I connected it back and want to make sure I am testing this properly...since I have the A/C compressor un-plugged and the evaporator out of car, how would I go about verifying it is working without screwing anything else up?
I am also curious how my Evaporator BOX got filled with leaves and other crap....where is the air intake for that box on an 80?

Not sure about your AC question. On my '79, the air intakes are in the wiper bay, at the extreme corners. I think you should have a hard plastic mesh or screen covering them. If that screen is gone, the intakes act as a vacuum as your buzzing down the road.....JC

You should be able to set to vent and turn on. The AC part is not part of that control. Check your fuse also. You may have a bubba fix.
