Re: Rallye Wheels- trim ring clips (Skeets)
Other than cannabalizing another trim ring, I don't know where to get a clip. But when you retrofit another clip to your trim ring, PLEASE post the how-to and the results here.

Re: Rallye Wheels- trim ring clips (mayberg)
will do.... though i don't think it's gonna be a very technical write up... lot's of prying with screwdrivers, bleeding fingers, and swearing i imagine!
... i've had a surf and not been able to find the clips, but surely SOMEBODY must sell them?

Skeets,
Guess you've tried Dart, but have you tried Ray Groves (Corvette Kingdom)? He may be able to help you out.
Failing that, I've got a set of aftermarket Ferrari style wheels I want to sell :jester

Skeets,
You need an OD tranny! A trip on Weds to the Sussex meet (near Brighton) from the Surrey/Hampshire border used less than 1/2 tank of fuel. Took the A23, M23, M25 & M3 back, cruising at about 80mph (just over 2000rpm) on the motorways. Also accidentally hit 3 figures for a short while (instant driving ban if caught) withut even realising it as the exhausts were still burbling away - with the old TH350 they would have been bellowing. I LIKE OD :D :D

Sorry! But that OD tranny on a motorway, compared to the TH350, is like night & day. Best thing I ever did to the Vette by far.

I think I have that many. If I do just pay for postage.
I just checked... You're in luck I have seven total.

Skeets,
This forum's great! When I've bought stuff from people I get them to send it via USPS. Large stuff can take a few weeks but small packets usually arrive within about a week. Get the sender to label the package as "Gift" or you'll get customs charges. For payment I just send cash through the post & haven't had any problems yet (for larger amounts you can use credit transfers, Bankers Drafts, etc, which means you have to pay the Bank an excessive handling fee & sometimes (as Signguy found out) the recipient also gets clobbered with charges from their own Bank :( Which is why they're known collectively as "Bankers"). For the amount you're probably talking about it's worth sending cash as, even if it doesn't arrive, the value is probably less than the Bank will charge you in fees ie. it'll still be cheaper to have one payment get "lost" in the post & then send another! Just make sure that you use an opaque envelope, wrap the cash in a sheet of A4 & you should be OK.
One other thing - when you change £'s into $'s ask for new notes. I've been warned that a lot of used notes could be contaminated with something that sniffer dogs like & letters that sniffer dogs pick out can go missing.

Re: Rallye Wheels- trim ring clips (Rick Church)
I don't know how to put them back on but I think you can just slide them back in place. Taking them off of the old rings is no problem since they aren't very good and I am going to throw them away after I take off the clips.
