instuctions for new a.c. compressor?
My brother and I are going to install a new a.c. compressor on his 73 BB and I just wanted to know, is there anything we need to do to it before we charge it up? Thanks! :confused: :D

Get a GOOD quality compressor. Parts Store compressors have a terrible reputation for being DOA or failing in the first couple of days of service. Even if the store replaces it the expense of having to replace the R12 will break you quickly.
If you aren't a freak for originality you might want to look at a Sanden compressor as a replacement for the long style compressor.

how new is the drier. Some compressor manufacturers require the drier be replaced when a new compressor is installed or the warranty will be voided.
