Chicago Area Cruise Nights?
After moving to the NW suburbs of Chicago, I haven't found any cruise nights in the area. I'd appreciate suggestions on when/where I can find cruise nights. Thanks.

Check out Great Lakes forum in Upcoming Events and Regional Discussion. Crystal Lake has cruise nights, I believe Libertyville does too. I hit Elmhurst and Lemont, but those are west and southwest. Hope to see you at one of these things. :seeya

Take a look in the Thursday Edition of the Daily Herald, lists a lot of current ones. Also, pick up a copy of the Custom and Antique Car mag in the rack with the boats, motorcycles trucks etc, it list most shows and cruise nights.

Geneva at the old courthouse on thursday evenings. Elmhurst has one too, don't know any details about that one. I think Swony's Drive inn (South part of Aurora on Hill Ave) used to have one, don't know if they still do. Fox Valley Corvette club meets at the Lincoln Inn (Batavia) and have kind of a cruise night at their meetings as well as other activities. South Elgin has a cruise night, again, don't know any details. Windy City Corvettes is sponsoring a Corvette show at Bill Kay Chevy in Lisle on Sunday, July 27, 8:30 to 3:00 PM, you might get a lot of good info there as well. :auto: :steering:

Biker, I caught the end of the cruise night in Geneva last night. There were about 200 cars at it's peak, only a few left when I arrived at 9:00. I would say prime time is between 6:00 and 8:00 at the old Kane County courthouse located on third street. The show is every Thursday evening.
