79 t-tops leak
Is there anyway to adjust them?? The still have weather stripping, but it leaks just above the drivers visor. Any ideas??

My 79 leaks there also. I was hoping it was one of those ultra rare limited production options that would greatly increase the value of my car :lolg: :lolg: :lolg: :lolg:

Re: Fixed that in my '80 (Hobbes Blk '80)
My '80 had that as well on the passenger side and I too thought it was the T-tops. Turns out there was a little hole where the window trim and window frame meet just under the front side of the top. I put a little of the black sealant in the hole and so far I am leak free. Give your entire upper window areas a good going overe and make sure you don't have something similar going on. Best of luck getting dry.

Re: 79 t-tops leak (stinky)
I sealed the opening in the trim and I checked for rust. There was surface rust, but nothing major. The car sits out in the rain so I need to fix it. There must be a fix.....Anybody?????

Yeah... My 80 had that for a bit... I fixed it by putting a big towel on my lap :smash:   :withstupid:

mine leak too.. Helps refresh that moldy old car smell. The trim around the windsheild does not fit very well leaving gaps that the weather strip will not fill. I keep a towel in the car.
