Default Quick question for someone with a 76-77 electric tach

Since I replaced the mechanical tach with a 1976 electric tach for the TPI conversion, I need to make the electrical connections.

I have to run new wires since there is no provision for the electric tach in my wiring harness.

Can someone please tell me where each of the terminals on the back of the tach should be attached? There are three terminals. Two on top and one on the bottom. The wiring diagrams do not make it easy to tell which is which.

Thanks. :)

If you don't get a reply, send me an email at mstrobl2@removetheobviouspart_comcast.ne t and remind me. I'll check my books. I did this a few years ago, but don't remember the pins offhand.

Connector layout is 2 pins side by side and one below the first one:

___ ___
___

The two on top are power (switched 12V) and ground, in that order.

The one below goes to coil neg (signal).
