Default Demon ZZ4 Carb

Anyone using one? Was wondering if they are worth the $450?

I have one. I don't know if they are worth $450 though. Summit has/had them for closer to $400 and this guy in NH has them for $380.

I'll say this about mine. The choke is a PITA but the throttle response and fuel/air flow is killer. I had a tough time spinning the tires before the carb and after I left a 10' patch and grabbed them a little going into second. No doubt it's a good carburetor but I don't think I'd pay that much for it.

I have the 650 mechanical secondary on my car it runs great. The car really picked up over the road demon. I managed to get mine last year from Summit when they had a discount code floating around. I think I paid around 400 for it.

Your paying extra probably because it jeted and set up for youe crate engine, depending on your level of experince it might actually be cheaper in the long run.

Although if was me I would probably order a factory rebuilt Edelbrock from Summit for $185.00

I put a ZZ4 Demon 650 VE on my ZZ4 when installed last year and haven't had to touch it since. Paid $414 for it from Pace. I'm sure they did a better job tuning it to the motor than i could, worth the extra $15 in the grand sceme of things.
