Default Wet Okole in a C3

I got my Wet Okole seat covers last night. At a 1st look it looks like the cover goes over the whole seat back and the bottom goes over just the cushion. Anybody have these in a 78-82 and can tell me how they are supposed to fit? Any info will be appreciated.

I have them in my 78, the bottom goes under the seat.

I removed my seat from the car to install the bottom.

Good luck with them, I'm not particularly fond of mine... (though they look nice...)

I put them on a C5 and had to remove the seats from the car.

Thanks for the quick replys guys. Pacin, I am gonna remove the seats but my real question is the seat back, it looks to me like the cover goes over the whole thing frame and all, not just the cushion, is that correct or is the cushion remove from the frame to install?

Thanks

I'm 6'2, and they make the seat too high.

They don't grip as well as the stock leather, and they make the car much hotter.

On a hot day, the car smells TERRIBLE. (Like neoprene. Bleh!)

The only redeeming factor is that they look nice- I wish I could afford new leather seats right now.

Cheeseral-

I did not remove the cushions at all. The seatback was fastened underneath the seatback(between the two actual pieces of the seat).

The bottom hooked underneath the seat rails. Make sure to get it very very tight.

Pacin, thanks for the info, it sounds like it's going over the frame and will cover the carpet on the seat back as well. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

They don't seem to stink mine up when the tops are off or the windows are down, either. ;)

When the weather busts 85 though, and the car is sitting outside sealed up, prepare for neo-stink!

Yeah, my car is a garage queen and my tops are only in it when I was the car. I also have colth seats so hopefully the gripping won't be a problem either.

Thanks

I would like to see what they look like. Anyone have any pics you could post?
