X-Mas in July!
Santa and his big brown sleigh dropped off some toys for me last night.
I began to read up on the shift kit install. This looks pretty intimidating. Especially this dude.
He doesnt give me the warm fuzzies of an easy install.
Any tips on installing one of these things would be appreciated.
Maybe I'll just draw a goofy moustache and some buck teeth on him. Make him look like bubba.

I'm not fimilar with that stall convertor, can you shed some light on it.
The guy in the picture would look better if you colored a few of his teeth missing too.

Looks like you've been bit by the while-i'm-at-it bug. Shift kits aren't so bad. Just be dayum careful on the valve body!!

Well, your install will be easier than others since you'll have the transmission out to install the torque converter and flexplate. Just put it on on an engine stand (support the tailshaft with a 2x4) and install while standing up. Much easier to do than under the car, but it isn't very difficult. Horsepower TV installed a B&M one in a TH350 for a Chevelle. It appears as simple as removing the valve body, replacing the plate under it (may have to drill a hole larger) check the plate against your old one for any additional holes that may be needed for your specific transmission, drill those, remove the correct check *****, reassemble.

Plus they usually have a smile while doing it. ;)
