Yes, because if they didn't then it'd just look like a Merc! With the vents people will look at it & think "It sure looks like a Merc, but it's got those vent thingys that those old aluminium Corvettes used to have" :D

The gas door is on the wrong side too. I hate when I drive a different car to the pump only to find out the gas door is on the opposite side. Another DB exclusive.
