Head Gasket Sealer (copper)
I am ready to install the ultrathin metal FelPro (#1094) head gaskets. Heads have been resurfaced and block deck is clean and appears of a good surface. I will be using VersaChem copper spray sealant. The instructions say that the surfaces can be pre-sprayed and this sounds advantageous and
not as big a mess. I presume the sealer will set up but still seal as when wet.
Anyone out there have any tips, suggestions, advice, etc.? Also, heads are stock. Help is appreciated

I wish you well. My experience with ultrathin gaskets cost me another teardown and a switch to GM Heavy Duty Head Gaskets......Perhaps I did something wrong the 1st time with the ultrathins but all I know is that all is well now............. :D

Hmmm...when I put mine on, I just used the Permatex spray copper stuff and followed the directions on the can. That was at least 4 years ago and I've had no problems.
