Blower motor hose question

Blower motor hose question
On the blower motor there is a small rubber hose coming out of the side of it. It doesn't look like a vacuum hose, what does it do and where does it go? I saw mine is pulled away from the housing. :cheers:

It provides for some air circulation across the motor windings to help cool the motor.
