Need HELP from Atlanta Corvetters...
Um...anyone in the Atlanta area, near exits 75 thru 70 of I-20W? I lost a rather large piece of my car there, and couldn't stop to get it back. If you could pick it up for me, I'll pay you to send it back to me.
I can be reached through this post, and at david dot henze at 1969corvettes dot com.

Mapquest says you're about an hour+ away. And we're talking about...oh...a fender. Long story, short version: the bonding material didn't work too well...so, I'm out of the fiberglass repair on my own...

It looks like you lost it between Turner Hill Road and the Atlanta International Golf and Country Club. I am not that close but I would be willing to make the trip for you but I want to make sure no one else from the Forum has already done so. Then it is a wasted trip. Which side of the road did it end up on? Do you think the fiberglass fender could withstand being blown off, etc. at 60+ mph? It might just be dust by now. IM me to discuss.

Nobody has contacted me about it yet, so I guess it's either of you two right now, so I'll reply via post to keep everyone up to date.
I saw it land in the rear view mirror, and it appeared to land in one piece. My main concern is retrieving the side marker light from the fender as it is original, while the fender is not...but if the fender is still good, I'd like to get it back as well.
If someone is able to pick it up, please post here when you do so that nobody duplicates effort. Thanks!

I think Alwyn678 and I will be able to do a run to look for it but we need to know what side of the road. Right or left. Also, can you narrow the spot down as to where you lost the fender? Between Exits 70 and 75 is a pretty long stretch of road. By the way, what city and State will we being sending this thing to, assuming of course we can locate it.

It's along the concrete divider between the two traffic flows. When I saw it land, it landed in the space between the yellow line and the divider. I got on I-20 close to exit 75, and heading west, the next exit I really noticed was 70. I would guess it was between about mile marker 73 and 70.
