Speedo is Reading High
I posted this in the C2 Forum but it is pretty quiet over there. Any suggestions?

I checked out your post in C2. If you can't get the gear at your local GM dealer, I can check here in PA. I go past a speedometer shop on my way to and from work.

I just solve that problem on my car and here's what I've found. You should take more than one point to check the accuracy of your speedo. Check it at 100 kph and 50 kph. The reason is that you can adjust the needle or adjust the ratio of the gears.
In example, if you read 110 kph at 100 and 60 kph at 50, you just have to take the speedo off and get the needle down by 10.
If you read 110 kph at 100 and 55 kph at 50, the you have to change the ratio of the gear to correct it.
