GTA or GNX wheels on a shark
Got a question. I've always liked the looks of the Buick GNX and Pontiac GTA wheels. They're the crosslaced style with the black centers. Has anybody ever put them on a shark? The stock OEM wheels are 16"; does anybody make 17"? Does anybody still make this style wheel?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Thanks for the info! Those are great looking wheels however, $534 a wheel is a little salty. The AR TT IIs are starting to look a lot nicer all of a sudden.
But just in case I inherit a million or something; any idea where I could buy a set?

hey kid vette, the gta and trans am rims are 2 different offsets from front to back,i tried them on my car i needed a spacer behind them so they didnt hit the caliper.and if i remeber right you can only use either all 4 fronts or all 4 rears, its been awhile since i tried it .

Re: GTA or GNX wheels on a shark (1bad69)
Hey 1bad69! Nice job with the wheels. I really do think they look great on a shark. Kinda reminds me of the old Appliance wheels guys were putting on Vettes back in the '70s. Also there were some proto Vettes in the 60's with similiar wheels. Here's some pics:

Anyway, I guess I going to have to think about the SSR Formula Mesh wheels. Seems like that money could be better spent on something with more functionality.
