Early shark rear speaker set-ups
Awhile back some one had a great set-up for 6x9 or subs in the back of a 68-77 which they mounted their amp and speakers to a piece of plywood in the back and covered it with carpet .Anybody help me out with dimensions and will it work with a convertible.thanks Terry

Re: Early shark rear speaker set-ups (Terrys69coupe)
I just bought some 6x9 foam door buckets for the rear of my speakers, cut out the oval holes into the carpeted bulkhead, they do not protrude further than the rear edge of the 'vents'..., and bolted them into place....
work fine with top UP....however the highs are somewhat muted, so I recommend additonal tweeters up closer on each side....'72 convertible
OH, on the top side, use RTV as additional sealant to be sure no leaks....
